Our Wednesday night small groups (Life Circles) kicked off in July 2011, and have truly gained momentum. Each week we are empowered with practical life applications with the Word of God as our foundation. For the month of December we are discussing "What A Woman Needs". I will share just a few nuggets...you have to come out to experience the rest :)
The purpose of this particular Life Application is two-fold. First to empower all women to have high standards as it pertains to a male companion. Women too often settle due to the strong desire to have a mate. Biological clocks are ticking, hormones are not cooperative, and it seems like there is no ending to this "lonely saga". But this application, if received, will definitely help illeviate the anxiety that causes us to accept any man that comes our way. Secondly this application is intended to bring an awareness to all men of the needs of most women. With this knowledge, it will help men understand us a little better and help them to navigate their way in a relationship.
Our foundational scripture is Ruth chapters 2 & 3.
Through the Word of God we have discovered a few things that most women need in a man such as:
stability, confidence, self esteem, security, emotional connection, provision, and commitment.
I challenge you to dive into the scripture and see if you can find any of these qualities in Boaz. Then come out and share in our Life Circles your revelation.
